Dog show fun? I just love dog friendly events that everyone can enjoy. It’s a great way to meet new dogs and their peeps too. I also love seeing the vendors where you find things that are special and unique. I have to also admit I am always amazed when I see the dog shows, especially the agility dogs, boy are they talented and fast!
So mark your calendar and bring your family down, the two legs and the four for a wonderful long weekend in Wales. The dog show looks paw-tastic!
The South Wales Dog and Family Fun Day
The South Wales dog and family fun day is now in its fifth year and is all about dogs having fun with their families. Did you know that this is the largest fun dog show in Wales and one of the largest in the whole of the UK. They welcomed over 15,000 visitors in 2015 and their dogs.
It’s wagging tails, laughing children and exciting events, enough to keep you howling for the whole day.
They are also a Yellow Dog Friendly Event. Which means the event will be considerate of the needs of dogs wearing a yellow indicator, whether this is a ribbon, bandana, jacket or other item.
It’s going to be held on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May 2016 at Fonmon Castle Show Ground, Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan. Fonmon is on the M4 Cardiff to Swansea corridor and near to Cardiff International Airport.
