Raising your puppy online is not a virtual pup app it’s a complete puppy training course from Robin Bennett. Which is the clever way to help guide you and your puppy’s first 6 months of living together better. It is perfectly designed for busy pet parents and their newest bundle of joy. It helps you break through the chaos of puppyness and gets your puppy started off on the right paw.

Videos to watch and understand

Better than a book because you can watch and learn

work at your own pace and timing.

Now your are probably wondering what I would want with an online dog training course, considering I am a 10 year old beagle. But you would be surprised about how many pups and their owners come up to my peep and ask for advice on training their new furry family member.

Now if you talked to my peep, she would probably tell you that I too need a refresher course in training. I have to admit, I have forgotten most things like here, stay and come here. Why do I need to know those things? I’m 10 and like to do my own thing and have actually learned better words like treat, pub and bed. Which I think is very clever.

However, my peep disagreed and was very interested in learning more about the Robin K Bennett’s Raising Your Puppy™ online dog training course. She thought it would be great for her customers who come into the shop with their new puppy and maybe learn a few things herself when it came to me.

With that note I wanted to know….

Who’s Robin K Bennett and what does she know about raising puppies

Well first of all she’s a certified professional dog trainer, author and all around expert on dogs. She also a consultant for pet care facilities on the subjects of dog daycare, training and off-leash dog play. And she has been doing this for over 20 years and is an  an advocate of safe interactions between dogs and peeps and between dogs and other dogs.

She’s an active member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and  the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for this association that reaches more than 5,200 members in 48 countries worldwide.

OK, I think she knows her stuff, so I,m willing to check out her course and see what I will learn!

About Raising your Puppy Online Dog Training Course

Well the first thing my peep did was sign us up raising your puppy site and checked out the program. I think I’ll let my peep tell you all about it, due to I think this good time for me to take a nap.

Her thoughts…. After logging into the program you hit the landing page which has all your lessons laid out in a week by week video lesson.  Plus on the right had side there are quick links on all the things that comes to mind when your trying to train your puppy.

Lesson one I thought was brilliant, and I wish I had learned what to do before I brought Maggie home. After that each lesson is broken down to the age of your puppy. So it is really easy to use the training technique suited for your pups age.

The quick video links and the side bar are perfect too if you are struggling with a certain puppy issue.  I really liked the chilling out at Starbucks lesson. Perfect when you want to go out to a dog friendly venue with your pup.

I would also suggest that you fill in your puppy profile and join the Facebook online group for those puppy questions that just need to be answered! That way you get to receive ongoing guidance, tips, and advice every week while your training you pup.

What I loved…

You can train in your home when you have the time.

There are over 100 videos which are short to the point and easy to understand and do

The online dog training course is something I definitely recommend to all our customers at the shop who are considering bringing home a new puppy. I also suggest it to those that have an older dog that might need a refresher on some of the skills they learned years ago as a puppy but like me forgot.

My beagle thoughts

Yes even an old dog like me can get a good refresher course from the training videos. In fact I found it very rewarding and I feel a lot happier with pleasing my peep on relearning my commands!

  1. Robin’s course is one of the best.
Easy to follow, with visuals at hand – both video and printouts – it’s a treasure box for a successful puppy training.
Even older dogs can learn a few new tricks from what Robin offers.
Plus, you cannot beat the prize tag! It probably would cost ten times more to hire a personal trainer or go for an in-person training sessions with your dog vs. utilizing Robin’s course at home.
The information is presented in a doable manner and with fun activities for a pup.

    • I could not agree more. I was very impressed that Maggie learned a few things again! Great course!
