The best thing about having my own blog and business, is that I get to go to work everyday with my peep. It’s good because I can keep an eye on her and make sure she is answering all my fan mail, updating cute photos of me and chatting with my beagle pals from all over the world.
Considering I am the head CED (Chief Executive Dog), it’s important that I make sure she gets away from the computer every now and again and I have made a few rules to make that happen.
- All meetings and brainstorming should be done during long walks.
- A lunch break and treat breaks throughout the day.
- End of day playtime, which includes playing tug, and belly rubs.
I’m very proud that I’m a working dog and very lucky that I can be with my peep throughout the day. That is why Bring your dog to work day UK is going to be a howl! You’ll get to see where your peep goes, meet new people and hopefully other wagging dogs. You’ll also learn a little more about what your peep does, where she goes and how she got all those strange scents that she brought back home. . I mean it can feel like days when they leave, I think it’s a must to see what they are doing!
So why not grab your Wag N Go bag, packed with your lunch, a few treats, and your snuggle blanket so that you have all your essentials while your away from home. In fact your peep can lay down your blanket by her workspace, so that you’ll have your own little spot in the office. Not only will you enjoy the day, you’ll also help out three terrific charities and it’s a great way to give back and enjoy yourself too!
And don’t forget we lucky dogs of the UK can travel by bus, train and tube for free, just remember thought to stay off the seats!
Really?…What is it about?
Bring Your Dog To Work Day UK aims to raise money for three wonderful charities that make a huge difference to the welfare of animals.
When: Friday 27th June 2014
Businesses from across the UK will welcome their dog loving employees into the workplace, along with their loyal(and well-behaved!) four-legged companions. It’s the first national event of its kind and is sure to produce many enjoyable memories.
How?
Both businesses and individuals can make an online donation to participate. You can split your donation equally between our three charities or chose to just donate to your personal favorite.
Did you know?
In fact, a study published by the International Journal of Workplace Health Management (2010) concluded that the presence of dogs in
the work place even had a positive effect on those employees who didn’t have a dog of their own.
So in addition to raising funds for good causes, Bring Your Dog To Work Day is likely to boost the productivity and happiness of the
employees within your company.
